Ashiatsu - Thai Yoga Massage workshop

29th September 16:30 - 20:30 Jungle Healing studio / Arora Hotel Crawley Dance of the Foot Ashiatsu-Thai Yoga Massage Integration Workshop In this introduction to the merging of Ashiatsu and Thai Yoga Massage we will explore how to use your feet in simple, rhythmic, and dynamic ways to help bring someone balance and harmony. You will learn some easy and meditative techniques while standing or sitting next to a client, pressing, and moving along energy lines and points. This is a great workshop for yoga teachers, bodyworkers, or anyone with an interest in using your feet as a tool for healing. There is a deep grounding and nurturing that happens when using the feet and a new way to look at our connection to the earth. Ashiatsu is a traditional massage from Japan. Ashi means foot, and Atsu means pressure. It has origins from ancient monks in Japan. Thai Yoga Massage is a powerful bodywork that originates from Jivaka Komarabhacca, a friend and ayurvedic physician to the Buddha. Both have mindful and strong meditative origins. Teachers: Marek Gabor (Jungle Man), an experienced Thai Yoga Massage teacher and bodyworker, one of few authorized teachers in the Sunshine Network, U.K. Andrew Zorich, an integrative bodyworker and Ashiatsu practitioner from Seattle that learned from a direct family lineage from Shisou Perfecture, Japan.
